Christina on top of Independance Rock, Wyoming.
Christina, Bob, and Sandra
Walking down from Independance Rock. As you can see, it is very windy today.
Our family with our handcart ready to go.
Bob standing watch over the handcart. We were asked to pack our limit of 17 pounds in buckets to make it easier to load and unload.
Trying to keep up with the fast pace going up the trail. Lots of wind, heat, and sand! We had 378 people in our trek.
Our family getting ready to trek back into Martins Cove. We are at our camp site which is 3 miles away.
Monuments in the Cove erected to remember the pioneers and rescuers.
Baby Robert resting in the handcart.
The youth choir singing during a devotional in the Dan Jones Cove. Christina is in the front row in braides.
Standing in view of Devils Gate. We did walk down to the Sweet Water River to play in it for awhile. It was so nice. By the time we walked back to camp, we had probably walked over 13 miles! My feet and back are so sore!
