Easter egg hunt

We had a nice day on Easter Sunday. Trudy and Anthony, and Steven (Anarie is in Washington) came up for dinner and then we did an egg hunt just for the fun of keeping up with tradition. It was a beautiful day, so we played Bocce until we
were tired of walking back and forth! It is always great to have family over. We hope you all had a good day also. Christ gave us so much. It is nice to have these Holy days to keep us on the right path!

Spring Break

We went to the Hogle Zoo and the Capitol Building for spring break. We thought it might rain, but the weather turned out to be nice. This is the room in the capitol where the governor entertains high profile people.
One of the beautiful staircases with the beautiful murals. And a statue of Brigham Young, the first Statesman Governor of the territory. A DAY AT THE ZOO!
This is Christina living her childhood days of an ice cream cone and getting a stuffed animal souviner.
Bears are always fun to watch! We got to watch the pequins swim and dive for the fish in the bottom of the water.
This turkey is really "struttin" his stuff. You could sure tell it was spring. All the male animals were showing off for their female partners! A pretty bird below.
Elephants are always a big hit, too! A cute owl.

Christina and friends

This is Christina and her group of friends at Elora's (Pink dress) house. This where they had dinner. Christina's date is Brad the redhead.

Our Trip to Boston

We got to go to Boston again for Bob to attend an Architects seminar. I love visiting Boston. There is so much history and beautiful architecture to see! This building is the John Hancock Tower. The outside is all glass window. It is nick-named the Shick building because it looks like the two edge blade of a shick razer. The beautiful building by it is the Holy Trinity church.
This is a statue of John Harvard, whom Harvard college was named after for his donations to the college.
This is Fenway Park the home of the Boston Red Sox baseball team. We got to go there and have a social. We were served things like the Fenway Frank, a lobster sandwhich, chicken skewers, popcorn, ect.
This is the bar that the show "Cheers" got there inspiration from. I walked through the main city of Boston and just enjoyed myself taking pictures of different sights.
This is on the ship "USS Constitution". Bob loves to look at war ships and enjoyed seeing all the cannons on this ship.

Savannahs Third Birthday

We went to Tom and Elise's house March 26 to celebrate Savannah's birthday. She was so excited to have everyone there. Elise made a beautiful cake for her. It is sure fun having grandchildren!
