It is just hard to believe that President Hinckley has died! He was such a hard worker. He was such an example to follow of love, charity, service, a firm testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will miss him. We will especially miss him at the dedication of the Rexburg Temple. But, we know we will feel his precense there!

Accident

Anthony and Trudy were involved in a car crash last Sunday. They were driving home, going through Smithfield, when they stopped for a red light. They had watched this truck nearly hit two other people and them once before! Then BAM! the guy hit them straight on in the rear trunk area. It pushed their car clear through the intersection to the other crosswalk! There were no skids marks at all indicating the truck hadn't even attemted to slow down. The trunk is ripped to pieces. The hood is buckled up and the bottom is smashed to the ground. The crash smashed out the entire rear window. Anthony got out to talk to the guy. The other guy said he didn't even see him. He started to pull over and then sped up and left the scene! Anthony and Trudy received some serious whip-lash, so the EMT's insisted they go to the Hospital. They were transported by ambulance. After ex-rays were taken, they were released when the doctor decided there were no serious injuries. At 1:30 in the morning the police officer handling the case called our home to let us know that they had finally caught the guy and arrested him. He is being sited for leaving the scene, a DUI and other things. He said this case will end up in court. Anthony and Trudy are doing fine after a few days of a sore neck. They are now without a car. So, hopefully after negoitiating with the insurance, they will be able to get a rental for a few days. This could be a long, drawn out process!
